The first trip of «Bograch-teams» in the new year

January 2026. Four years of full-scale war — is thousands of kilometers of roads, hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid and countless hot lunches right on the front line. Volunteers of BO «Khrest» started the new year of service with another mission to Donetsk region and Kharkiv region.

This trip (January 23–25) was a combination of two key projects of our foundation: Support the soldier; and Treat the soldier;.

📦 Project «Support the warrior»: More than logistics

This is a service — about reliable rear. We brought the defenders everything they needed: from a regular shovel and camouflage nets to critical medical stretchers, medicines and special equipment

However, «Support the warrior» — is not only cargo. Our team always includes chaplains, psychologists and nurses.We are not just carrying things, we are carrying presence, moral support and reminders: “You are not alone”.

🔥 Project «Warrior Adventures»: Chronicle of three days of mission

Our «front bograch» has already become a legend. This is 270 liters of home Transcarpathian comfort, cooked over an open fire in the middle of a field or in a broken city.

Day 1: Barvinkove

First point. Frost, piercing wind, but hot bograch does his job. Many meetings, conversations, prayers. Even Vladyslav Stotsky visited us. Many thanks to Pastor Oleksandr for his hospitality and help in preparing the ingredients.

Day 2: Oleksandrivka (Donetsk region)

Climbing at 06:00. This day became an endurance test. Only we unfolded the kitchen in the usual place, as the local authorities persistently asked to move. The reason is terrible: the day before, it was this point that was hit by an enemy «Lancet» (a soldier was killed, four were wounded).

We were moving around with a boiling cauldron on fire, lest time be lost. They stood in a safer place and fed hundreds of boys who needed this warmth.

Day 3: Return to Periwinkle

Final chord. In addition to bograch, a branded banosh with porcini mushrooms was prepared. Military happy and we — exhausted but inspired. Departure to Kyiv at 2:00 p.m.

⛪ Spiritual foundation

Jesus said: «Take up your cross and follow Me». For our team, it means being His hands and feet where the pain is greatest right now. We don't just distribute food — we bless, pray for every protector and testify to God's love in the darkest times.
