Collection and delivery of charitable aid to residents of Donbas

KHREST organizes the delivery of humanitarian aid to Dobropillya in a small FORD truck together with members of the Church of Salvation in Kyiv. Immediately after the events on Maidan, we decided to go with humanitarian aid to Dobropillya to support our brothers and sisters in this small mining town in Donetsk region. A group of volunteers gathered who were ready to visit this region at such a difficult time. The Church of Salvation on Pukhova Street in Kyiv joined in collecting various types of aid, and on Saturday morning the group set off. The road was not easy, because we took a slight detour, which was not the best, and there were checkpoints at the entrance to the Donetsk region. Dobropillya greeted us with slightly cloudy weather and gray city colors against the backdrop of slag heaps. The windows of government buildings in the city were covered with bags, and armed Interior Ministry guards were stationed there.
