Vuhledar-2014. Humanitarian aid
KHREST is organizing a humanitarian trip to Vuhledar, Donetsk region. Together with the Church of Salvation, they collected about 2.2 tons of aid, and three volunteers, Khmelnytskyi V., Kvitko S., and Petro Yakovlevich, delivered the cargo to the Evangelical Christian Baptist Church in Vuhledar. The volunteers traveled through (then still Dnipropetrovsk) Selidovo, Kurakhovo, and circled around Maryinka because there were many checkpoints there, and the road had changed because some of the territory was already under separatist control. In the city of Pokrovsk, Igor Gutnik, a pastor from Dobropillya, joined the volunteers and showed them the way to Dobropillya.

In Dobropillya, volunteers were warmly welcomed by brothers from the local Baptist church, where they unloaded their cargo. They also had the opportunity to spend the night there and participate in the Sunday morning service, where they met many members of the local church. Before the service, they also had the opportunity to walk around the town of Vuhledar and offer several residents the New Testament in Ukrainian.
